The international jury judged the entries, based on design, choice of materials, finish, ergonomics and environmental impact, among others. This is the sixteenth iF Award in ETAP history: proof that our luminaires are not only efficient and comfortable, but are also eye-catching.
Slim and stylish
More than ever, the new R8 LED version - developed in collaboration with Belgian design studio Stefan Schöning - is a slim and stylish fixture and an ideal match for minimalist interiors. This fully sealed unit is made from satin-anodised polycarbonate. The HaloOptics® diffuser provides even illumination, without dark areas. The R8 adds architectural value to the most diverse environments such as entrance halls, conference rooms/showrooms, businesses, schools, stores and hospitals.
Whimsical and creative
The updated R8 provides you with the freedom to set up your lighting in a whimsical and creative way. The luminaires come in several lengths and can be installed in numerous configurations – surface-mounted or suspended, linked or individual, horizontal or vertical. Do not be afraid to give free rein to your creativity. Upon request the R8 series can also be delivered as a continuous light line, up to 3 metres long.
