In the Brabant city of Den Bosch, the new theater - Theater aan de Parade - has been in operation since early 2024. The ultramodern building rises just next to the stately St. John's Cathedral. Every year, this cultural meeting place for theater, dance, music, cabaret, ... attracts some 300,000 visitors to the inner city of 's-Hertogenbosch.
During the renovation of Theater aan de Parade, the explicit wish was to discretely integrate the escape route lighting into the architecture of the building.
Unobtrusive presence
The minimalist design of the K9 emergency lighting luminaires ensures unobtrusive integration. For the foyer, adjacent to the multifunctional Plaza Hall, ETAP goes one step further. ETAP provides customization by harmoniously matching some of the K9 luminaires in color to the gold-colored ceiling and walls. Unobtrusively present, striking when needed.
The K1R emergency lighting series is also provided. This series bridges the longest distances between individual luminaires and is therefore without a doubt a great asset: standard-compliant with fewer luminaires.
Lights off, spotlight on
Of both emergency lighting series, we also install the pictograms. In the theater halls, the signaling luminaires are equipped with DALI. Together with the hall lighting, the light of the luminaires goes off. If the electricity supply is interrupted, the signaling luminaires will naturally turn on again. This allows visitors to enjoy their visit to Theater aan de Parade in Den Bosch undisturbed.
