World Trade Center Amsterdam is the largest office complex in the Netherlands. Tower Ten, part of WTC Amsterdam, is a sustainable and future-oriented office tower that provides full support to companies when it comes to introducing modern, flexible and healthy working concepts in a dynamic and vibrant environment. Tower Ten is the result of the renovation and expansion of the former Tower D.
Tower Ten is a state-of-the-art building in all respects, which was delivered with a BREEAM-NL Excellent New Construction certificate for energy sustainability and for sustainability aspects such as ecology, water and health including indoor climate, ventilation and lighting. The building's superior environmental performance aims to minimise the building's environmental impact. This certification qualifies a building on integral sustainability where the requirements are stricter than imposed by law. Many different factors contribute to this outstanding report. ETAP's expertise, custom work and sustainable lighting solutions directly impact energy consumption and energy score.
Made-to-measure with maximum flexibility
The client, CBRE, a world leader in commercial real estate services and investments, wanted maximum flexibility as each floor is made for 1 or more tenants. A floor therefore had to be able to be split into several compartments, without compromising on lighting quality and comfort.
ETAP suggested the U7, integrated and customised to fit the bandrasters in the climate ceiling. Visually, this creates continuous lines with the curved shapes of the U7 range. Since the luminaires are the same colour as the ceiling, lighting integration is seamless. The ventilation system uses the luminaires for air extraction.
Emergency lighting in style
This office building with high-spec finishes calls for appropriate emergency lighting, stylish modern design combined with durability and powerful performance. The K1R was the ideal solution for this. CBRE opted for the ETAP Safety Manager (ESM) for its central emergency lighting management.
