Saving energy and reducing CO2 emissions has been a priority at Schleswig-Holstein Netz AG and E.ON Hanse AG for many years.
That is why this network centre in Niebüll also sets a good example in terms of energy and CO2 consumption. Based on previous positive experiences with ETAP, luminaires with LED+LENSTM technology were selected. The combined daylight- and presence-dependent light control EasyDimm, which automatically controls illuminance depending on incident daylight - should also reduce energy consumption during the day or during absences.
Offices and conference rooms are fitted with R7 suspended luminaires. The corridors are brightly and pleasantly lit by D42 downlights and an R8 diffuser luminaire illuminates the reception area.
All K7 and K2 emergency luminaires are linked to ETAP's ESM central monitoring and management system. Through a COM server, data from the security luminaires is continuously relayed over its own network to a central computer in Hamburg, from where many of the group's other buildings are also monitored. From here or from any other computer in the world, authorised facility managers can monitor all systems and take immediate action in the event of fault messages.
